History:

The legendary Finca „Santa Rosa 1900“ belonging to Efraim, also known as „Don Macho“ is  is situated at 1,900 meters above sea level, here in the microregion León Cortés. Don Macho and his son Gelberth Naranjo operate this farm together. From every angle of the farm you have a wonderful view of the Tarrazu mountains – just for this view it is worth to visit the farm. The coffee plants seem to love this view just as much – it is reflected by the phenomenal taste of this special coffee.

Of course it's due to the extreme altitude, climatic conditions and the marine air from the caribbean and Pacific that let the coffee mature slower and makes it more substantial. We are very happy to have met Don Macho and his son and to present their excellent coffee now. Enjoy!
