History:

The country must have just been fighting it's 3rd war of independence when Antonio Coli, with his 15 years of age grabbed his suitcase and left behind the Tuscan town of Lucca. As a blind passenger in the belly of a ship, he left Italy to find a better future in Brazil, the home of coffee. Once there, he opened a small shop. Having saved up some money he bought a piece of land in 1897 in the region Carmo De Minas for his lifestock and to plant coffee. Today, his great grandson Álvaro exclusively cultivates coffee together with its brothers-in-law Paulo and Edson . Álvaro began with conventional coffee growing but quickly developed a passion for his plant and now focuses exclusively on specialty coffee. In the meantime family Coli won many awards besides a first place in the Coffee competition "Cup Of Excellence".

We are very pleased to present you this special Microlot of "Sitio da Torre". Enjoy your cup of coffee!
